Style Savvy: Styling Star Released!

Merry Christmas and happy Style Savvy release date! Style Savvy: Styling Star was released in North America on December 25th. It is exclusively available only on the Nintendo eShop for the North America region. No plans for a physical release have been announced.

 Quick blog update! A new poll has been added to the blog and the question for this poll is 'Who is your favourite idol character?'. You can choose from the four characters that appear in the new game who work as idols and celebrities. Looking forward to finding out who everyone loves in Styling Star!

      Instagram is a good place to check out as lots of players share pictures and outfits on there. There is a community on Tumblr which I used to be part of (no longer have an account on there).

      Okay I'm probably further along than I should be, I've already finished the full story line and gotten to the credits. Now Angelique is driving me crazy with this one request for a black outfit in her style that's suitable for a dinner party she'll be having with the trio of Anira, Rosie and Yolanda. I have given her chic outfits, feminine outfits and bold outfits, dresses and pantsuits, and every time she tries them on she decides they're just not suitable. She even did the excited squee face and said she couldn't wait to try on one of the ensembles and then still came out of the dressing room wagging her finger in disappointment. I'm dying over here!

      Omg I've got that same request! She is always saying nothing is suitable. I haven't worked out what she is after yet either, but I haven't played much recently so I'll need to have another try at the request.

      The Style Savvy community does seem kind of small. I haven't found too many people outside of this blog who are fans of it. Maybe we should try making a discord server...

    So I have been playing all week and I'm at star level 41, just wondering if you know how they caculate the amount you get from n001 for being there stylist.

      I found it only increased a small amount when I worked for NIN10 Pro. It was never a huge amount.

    I was wondering, how do you add a comment on your Shopdo profile? I found out from your guide that you can change the title in the awards screen, but some people have a comment underneath that too.. Any idea?

      You need to edit your own contact card for this. Go to the contacts tab and click the first tab and your contact card will appear. Scroll down and select the comment option. There are a range of comments you can choose but you cannot enter your own.

    Is there an easyish way to make money post game? I've switched to the chic interior but not a lot of chic people bother to come.

      There is no super easy way to make money post game. You just need to sell outfits at your boutique really. The only suggestion I could make on how to make more money would be to replay the main story line and you should get a better influx of customers.

      The game doesn't seem to give you many chic customers. I found I can occasionally sell chic outfits on the mannequin but it seems the interiors do not make a huge difference unless you use the normal girly, bold or lively ones.

    Do you think they make a style game with the main character as a guy not a girl and add more choices for men like dating,clothes,events,etc that would be so cool

      I think it would be pretty cool if they added that feature. The game definitely has a fanbase that would appreciate that being available.
